Like they say Rome was not built in a day, food habits are not changed in a day or a week.
In earlier times, people were concerned about only weight loss, however in the last decade or so, people have found out different ways or activities which would actually help them in their weight loss goal. The next question arises HOW ??

Are we following the best available guidance in the market or does the activity varies according to the individual’s body functionality over the years.
Still, we have seen only some percentage of folks are able to achieve their goals.


We can’t deny in any case that the diet/activity routine followed by any such individual requires not only dedication but the right guidance and diet steps as well.

Skipping Breakfast Requires Proper Routine


One such diet routine which has been popular amongst different countries is skipping breakfast or even dinner. Let’s focus on the diet routine for skipping breakfast to lose weight and how beneficial it is.

Talking about myself and my story around this thing, I have tried both i.e, skipping dinner and breakfast, of course for the aim to have a fit body by reducing some kgs.

And believe me, out of all those days, I have been able to skip dinner only thrice while skipping breakfast to lose weight was something that I could do more often like 3 times a week. I feel like what I did , other people can develop a consistency in that, skipping breakfast as I think it’s not only slightly easier, also you need to control your hunger a bit less, although many would not totally agree.


The whole hard step of skipping breakfast and not eating until lunch is simply to intake fewer calories in the day. This when done regularly and making a habit often lets people think that in this way some change in their weight can be done.


It is believed that a lot is dependent on the food habits and individual body patterns. So, one rule might not apply to all.


It’s commonly seen that in many cases people who take healthy breakfast are on the leaner side while the ones who avoid it are on the heavier side. This has been found out in certain studies as well.


In case you plan to skip breakfast to lose weight however you see that you are craving junk food or other spicy food for lunch, then the whole idea will get reversed. So, if you start a plan, then you should, in any case, stick to that for a certain period of time to see how beneficial it is for you and of course you need to have the patience to let the results come out.

It’s also seen that skipping breakfast makes you hungry so you overeat during later part of the day, which many would agree, however, you will get habitual with time only.


Yes, it has found in multiple studies that skipping breakfast makes people more hungry and they tend to eat more during lunchtime. One small suggestion here, only for those who can’t control eating till lunch, would be to take something very light during breakfast so that you can sustain till lunchtime.


The whole purpose is you don’t overeat during lunch. This is only a suggestion, you may take it up accordingly according to your body requirements.

Intermittent Fasting


Skipping breakfast is very closely associated with Intermittent fasting methods like 16/8, where you avoid eating for 16 hours at a stretch and start eating during an 8-hour time frame.


I would advise all you folks to follow a method that is best suitable to you rather than following or copying someone’s method. For the obvious reason, that everyone’s metabolism is different.


If you find convenient to skip breakfast and eat during lunchtime so you may follow that. On the other hand, if you find comfortable to skip dinner( which I think is more difficult for most folks), please follow that.
However, make sure you if you are dedicated, please stick to one of these, in this way you will get to know how much adaptable your body is.

It goes without saying that it requires immense dedication to follow any kind of diet regime. Several people who have achieved a lot in the world of fitness have mentioned in some way or the other that their gym time is 1 hour only, however, the actual muscle development or weight loss happens outside the gym as people are required to control on their diet and eat healthily or the type of food recommended by their trainers.

I would end by mentioning that I have seen people thinking “ How will I do that “, “ I am not capable of following such a routine “, however, if I tell you the benefits and how a certain level of fitness can be achieved, and how good you can feel about yourself, I am sure people can certainly have a fairly good reason to follow this. Rest, I leave up to you to decide how exactly would you like to take this up.
