4 Things One Should Do To Stay Fit

As they say health is wealth,  staying fit and young is the goal of everyone today. It’s the best way one can connect with his or her body and to feel young , fit and enthusiastic. 

Although everyone of us want to achieve a good fitness level, but in reality still many of us struggle to achieve the basic level of fitness. 

 By staying fit, it doesn’t really mean muscular body rather it means how fit or enthusiastic you are about things in life.  

 There is no weight and height formula to achieve fitness. Rather this is as much as having a fitness mindset as much as how strong you are physically. 

Let’s see what’s really important in today’s time to keep ourselves fit and follow healthy diet plan:

1.  Healthy diet Plan:  No doubt this is one of the most important things to do. We should be keeping a tab on what we are eating.

  However I would also suggest that once in a while a cheat meal is fine.  Apart from this we should aim for protein rich and high fibre and vitamin diet.   One should of course avoid cola and soda drinks because that this the biggest source of increasing calories.  One should replace it with fresh juice. 

2.  Regular exercise : Of course it is not easy for everyone. It is not important if you hit gym or do on your own.  Although gym exercise and physical fitness is very important part of staying fit, you can do running or jogging also.

One quick tip that can actually work here is please don’t don’t think of indulging in too much gym exercise if you are a newcomer.  That actually demotivates lot of people at times when they think of too much to do in little time. 

 Imagine you are studying for your exams, then will you be able to study all the topics in the last moment ?  I think you have to give some time for things to get started. 

Start with small steps and gradually your body becomes habitual to exercises and workout. 

3.  Enjoy the fitness journey :  you may think that you should have a goal of getting fit in a certain amount of time. I would say that staying fit is rather a journey than a goal.

You need to be optimistic about all those things that you face in your ultimate aim to stay fit but you should not forget to enjoy the rather awesome journey or the process that you are a part of.

4. Being Mentally Fit : Mental fitness and physical fitness are two sides of same coin. One can’t be physically fit if one is not mentally fit.

Several people join yoga at a later stage in life to stay fit. While this should not be the case. As it is seen that there is much pressure of work that a common man has, one should indulge himself or herself in yoga related activities since very beginning.

It helps you to connect yourself better with your body . A half an hour devoted to yoga in the morning may keeps you motivated towards life and work the whole day. Studies have shown that folks who have been indulged in yoga related activities are able to control their life and decisions better.

I believe with these basic things if being followed regularly can actually help anyone of us to stay fit and healthy.
